Bianca Pastrana, Receptionist
Hi, my name is Bianca. Growing up, I've always had a passion for animals. From wanting to be a zoo keeper to a marine biologist, working with animals is something I was born to do. I've always had animals growing up from dogs and cat to turtles and fish. Currently, I have two dogs and a cat. Leo being a Siberian husky, he keeps me on my toes. Lilah being a mixed breed, she keeps me warm at night with cuddles. Maggie being the domestic short hair who always wants to eat. I hope to pursue a career with animal, whatever that may be.
Stephanie Almanza, Receptionist
I was born in New Jersey and moved to Florida at 10 years old. I have always had a love for animals and am studying at St. Petersburg College for a Veterinary Technician degree. When I am not at work you will find me traveling, singing karaoke, or finding new adventures! I cannot wait to meet you and your furry family members.
Melanie Gonzalez, Receptionist
Hello, my name is Melanie. I’ve been working at Econ as a receptionist since 2017 but have been working in the veterinary field (on & off) since 2008. I have always enjoyed engaging in conversations with clients about their four legged family members, and of course meeting their fur babies. I have two of my own that keep me extremely busy and allow me to be empathetic to our clients and their pets needs. When I’m not at Econ I’m usually taking my puppy (Fiona) to training classes or cuddling up with Tonka (who at 5lbs has the heart of a giant). While I thought having one was great, I’ve recently discovered two is definitely twice the love. I look forward to hearing more entertaining stories from our clients and meeting more big personalities from their four legged children.
Maria Debbarh, Receptionist
Hey there! I’m Maria, and I’m one of the receptionists at Econ River Animal Hospital. I came to the clinic with no prior veterinary experience in 2016, but have learned so much about animals in the short time I’ve spent here. Nothing makes me happier than working with animals and helping our customers. In my spare time, I enjoy trips to the beach and going to the movies. I hope to meet you and your furry family members soon!
